Will You Marry Me?

When someone asks us "Are you in love? Do you have someone in your life? ", the first thought that comes in our mind is a relation that has love birds involved in it. Well, this is one of the relationships we talk about but let's travel a different journey.
Have you ever heard someone asking,  "Are you in love with yourself? Do have someone in your life with whom you feel comfortable and not get judged ?" probably 'No'. No one usually talks about this. My main question is why we should love ourselves first?
When we take our first breath on the earth until we die, there are various relations we have, and we make. Relation with mother and father, sister or brother, uncle-aunt, grandfather-grandmother, and cousins; these are the relations which we already have, we call it as blood relations. As we keep growing we make friends, best friends, schools-mates, roommates, batchmates, and colleagues but these relations keep on changing.
As we grow, we meet new people but some people stay forever and some leave making us void and broken. Then for the latter one, we start feeling lonely, sad, depressed, and frustrated like no one loves us and cares for us. Then we lack confidence and self-love, we start depending on others for happiness, support, care, and love. When our expectations don't get fulfilled we lose hope, we feel betrayed and abandoned. What we do is we just try to go back in their life, start stalking their social life, trying to get the updates of their current life to feel that we know about them. To feel that we love them and they are with us. As a result, we become strict to ourselves and punish us for not being part of it. But why? Maybe because we feel lonely and want to be cared for, and loved. It is normal to feel the same thing because humans are made to be in a group. But what about the people we have in our lives and will remain there for us?
Isn't it true that we take our family for granted? Our family loves us more than anyone else on Earth. They will never run away from us if we do mistakes. That relation will be there till the last breath and still afterwords.  We hurt them intentionally or unintentionally by not sharing with them about our feelings or ignoring them and by taking them for granted. We get angry and that anger may get burst on our loved ones, our family. It may happen because there is a lack of communication and understanding.  Some children can't express their feelings properly due to less interaction with parents because of office timings, staying in hostels for study, staying in cities for work. In such cases, they make their friends or roommates their family and these relations keep changing as we grow.
Let's come to the previous point. Feeling lonely! What will happen, if we stop relying on the people to be happy, loved, and cared? What if we stop relying on materialistic things to be happy? What if we expect less from others? The answer is simple, we will get less hurt.
What it takes to accomplish that answer? So, to do all such things we must be Emotionally Strong.
Very technical word these days. Isn't it? What actually being Emotionally Strong is? Can anyone define it? For some, it's being strict to ourselves and remain disciplined, not enjoying small fun, and especially not crying. But I cry a lot. A lot means very much maybe for hours. So does that mean I am not emotionally strong?
It takes very little to be Emotionally Strong. Just know your Value System. Know what kind of person you are and improvise your version. Cry out to people who will not judge you. It heals. Once you know your values you will find alike people with whom you connect and grow. Acceptance is another thing that takes you to meet an emotionally strong person in you. You can't change yourself but definitely you can find the best version of yourself. Sometimes asking a question 'why' doesn't help but asking 'how' will surely help. An emotionally strong person is in a better state to fill the void in his or her life and complain less of being lonely.
In this journey, we require our family and friends to support us. When we start understanding ourselves we actually start improving ourselves, we start working on ourselves, in our career and our health. We start taking responsibility for our deeds. That's why we should talk to our parents or our siblings or to those we feel comfortable with and will never abandon us.  The change we see is unstoppable and we are ready to marry ourselves for the rest of life. How beautiful it is to be loved by ourselves and for ourselves!
If you are not lonely then thank your amazing family and friends who have been there with you but make sure you marry yourself to not let the feeling of being alone enter your life. Just look into the mirror and propose yourself, " Will you marry me? Trust me I will never leave you no matter what."
Am I hearing a Yes from your heart?
Ohhhh you Blush!!!!

Its been 6 years since Mira has completed her English Learning Classes (How to speak in English) but today she cried because she wasn't able to write a simple caption in her LinkedIn profile while uploading a certificate. Her brother Nitin asked her," What have you done to this date? You are preparing for GRE. You have a dream to study abroad after clearing your exam. You have completed your Graduation. Still, there is no improvement in your English. How many times I have told you to speak in English. I sent you more than 100 Links to join an online interactive webinar. Did you ever take that seriously? You read the English newspaper. You read novels. Did you even utilized it to improve yourself ?".   Here is Mira just an average student who hardly got just above passing marks in her graduation and even failed sometimes.
